History

Mark and Dee-Anne Simms started Simmark as a small electrician’s company in North Nowra over twenty years ago. Over time, they grew the company and gradually added more capabilities such that Simmark today occupies a unique position as a versatile and highly flexible multi-service contracting company.

In early 2016, Simmark’s General Manager, Matthew Simms, became a director of the company as part of a generational transition at Simmark. Simmark also brought in a new investor and the company embarked upon an expansion plan.

As of June 2020, Simmark has grown to more than 65 employees and operates in a service area broadly covering the Shoalhaven, Illawarra, and Southern Highlands regions of New South Wales.
